Lucky Daye returns and releases Candydrip his second album, and Shenseea has dropped her debut album ALPHA.

Orion Sun is leading this week’s roundup of best albums, she’s officially leveled up with her newest release. Getaway which she put together during her time in quarantine is her form of escapism, and it’s beautifully done – it’s proof she’s evolving as an artist.

Candydrip, Lucky Daye’s sophomore album makes a strong case for where R&B is headed. It’s a stunning masterpiece executive produced by D’Mile featuring vocals by acts like Alex Isley. Features also include Smino, Lil Durk, and Chiiild. This week also gave us Mariah the Scientist’s project Buckle Laboratories Presents: The Intermission. KILE J drops Honey, an experimental drop worth giving a spin.

Benny The Butcher unleashes Tana Talk 4 a biting release with J. Cole, Boldly James, Conway The Machine, Westside Gunn, and more. Lil Durk finally has given his fans a new project: 7720. Mike Dimes unleashes In Dime We Trust

Kojey Radical is back with Reason to Smile, and he’s served up an enjoyable album, it’s punchy, thorough, and well-produced. His features are made up of Kelis, Masego, Tiana Major9, Ego Ella May, Cashh, and more. Shenseea’s debut album has also arrived: ALPHA.

Lastly, Nija has shared Don’t Say I Didn’t Warn You (Jersey Club Remixes) and Kali is staking her claim with Toxic Chocolate.
