On Thursday, a new episode of Joe Budden’s interview show featured Isaiah Rashad opening up about his alleged sex tape leak.

After a whirlwind of a few months, TDE rapper Isaiah Rashad has officially come forward to speak about his recent sex tape leak.

Earlier this week, Joe Budden teased a clip of Rashad speaking about the leak on his show.  Budden asked direct questions which surfaced on Twitter in clips. When asked how he identifies, the rapper shared: “I’m sexually fluid. I’m still learning about it myself. I’m putting my head in the books to find out the basics of it.”

He also shared that he’s attracted to personalities and intellect, and he goes on to express he’s currently in a supportive, monogamous relationship. Rashad also emphasizes that his current partner has opened him up to understand this side of himself more. When Budden asks when Isaiah first learned this about himself he responds by sharing: “The last couple of years.”

When tasked with answering if he’s seeking legal action against the individual who leaked the tape, Isaiah says he hasn’t even been thinking about it. “I’ve just been on keeping my mind together,” he says.

“Out of everything, with that happening it’s been a blessing, and with my grandfather dying a couple of days after, and my grandma going through what she’s been through — it’s been a concentration of family together more than before,” he adds. “I always gotta look at the brighter side of stuff.”

This new episode is Rashad’s first publicized interview since performing at Coachella in April, where he opened his set with a video montage that addressed his alleged sex tape leaks from February.

“I see all the messages and all that shit, all the positivity – Y’all niggas done kept me alive these last couple months,” Rashad previously said during his Coachella performance.

Following a montage that was a part of his Coachella set, Rashad performed cuts from his catalog, also bringing out DoechiiSiR, and more Top Dawg Entertainment artists. The rapper shed a tear during an emotionally-charged performance of “Wat’s Wrong” from his 2016 album The Sun’s Tirade.

In February, Budden predicted on his podcast that Rashad’s career would “blow up” after the alleged sex tapes were leaked. Following Rashad’s Coachella performance, Budden continued to give the Tennessee rapper support on his show.
