Steve Lacy Shares “Mercury” Single
His first new song since 2019 (he has, however, kept busy working with artists such as Ravyn Lenae), Steve Lacy returns with “Mercury.”
“‘Mercury’ was done for like a year. The track was done for a year and then I didn’t write it till like a couple weeks before we finished the album,” Steve said to Zane Lowe. “All of the singles, they all have a dual side, they all switch up, so like ‘Mercury’s’ the first half and then the second half is something else, and then the singles do the same thing.”
“Mercury” is the first offering from Steve’s forthcoming sophomore album, Gemini Rights, slated to drop this summer 2022.
