Drake is gearing up to release his new album Honestly, Nevermind.

Drake is joining the summer music conversation. He recently took to Instagram to announce his seventh album Honestly, Nevermind will release at midnight on Friday.

Immediately after the rapper shared the surprise drop on social media, Twitter users and culture figures began declaring he doesn’t care about cover art.

Either way, Drake is looking to disrupt things a bit with his latest. His last project which was Certified Lover Boy arrived at the tail end of last year, Honestly, Nevermind will be his latest effort. No additional information has been shared about the release.

Earlier this week, Drake hilariously shared he’d won the championship for his own Sanctuary Basketball League. In a clip that was shared online, he is seen popping a bottle of champagne, comparing himself to Kobe Bryant, and more. His team consisting of himself, Chubbs, and OVO Mark (Team NTIG) won for the third year in a row.

Most recently, he’s appeared on Future’s album I Never Liked You on the heavily streamed single “WAIT FOR U” featuring Tems. The single received a stellar video directed by Director X, Future and Drake starred as knights.

Drake is also launching a SiriusXM radio show titled Table For One tonight at 11 p.m. ET on Sound 42, perhaps he’ll share details on the album.

Stay tuned as more details emerge.
