An official trailer for the long-awaited House Party reboot has arrived. And it’s headed to LeBron James‘ mansion.

SpringHill Company-produced film has arrived, starring actors Jacob Latimore and Tosin Cole. Also written by Stephen Glover and Jamal Olori (Atlanta) the remake of the 1990 comedy was set to premiere on HBO Max this December, House Party will arrive to theaters early next year.
The Calmatic-directed film follows a pair of club promoters who are given the task of cleaning LeBron James home. The two then hit the jackpot by haphazardly deciding to throw a massive party at James’ mansion.

The film co-stars DC Young Fly, Melvin Gregg, Karen Obilom, Rotimi and other. Making cameo appearances are Lil Wayne, Kid Cudi, Snoop Dogg, Lena Waithe and House Party OGs Christopher “Kid” Reid and Christopher “Play” Martin.
Calmatic, who’s also set to direct the White Men Can’t Jump reboot starring Jack Harlow, spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the new version of House Party.
“I want the audience to be open-minded when it comes to these classic titles, and I want them to look at this film as this is the new generation,” the director said. “This is how we get down, this is what we do, and it’s okay to love it. It’s okay to revamp and expose the next generation to the same vibe that they participated in.”
