R&B and pop singer-songwriter, Chlöe, announced that her debut solo album, In Pieces, will arrive in March via Parkwood Entertainment.

R&B and pop vocalist Chlöe has arrived with the release date of her long-awaited solo debut. On Tuesday (January 24), the singer-songwriter, legal name Chloe Bailey, announced that her full-length LP, In Pieces, will arrive in March. The Grammy-nominated artist surprised fans with a teaser video for the forthcoming album, donning fiery red locs with a matching skin tight gown.

Since 2021, Bailey has dropped multiple singles, including “Have Mercy” (now certified Platinum by the RIAA), “Treat Me,” “Surprise” and Latto collaboration “For the Night.”

Since 2011, the Atlanta-born artist has been a duo with her younger sister Halle as Chloe x Halle, releasing albums The Kids Are Alright and Ungodly Hour, the latter which was nominated for Best Progressive R&B Album at the 63rd Grammy Awards. Album single “Do It” also earned a nomination for Best R&B Song while “Wonder What She Thinks of Me” got an additional nod for Best Traditional R&B Performance. The two reunited over the weekend in attendance at Beyoncé‘s private performance at Atlantis the Royal in Dubai.

In a recent interview with Complex, Chlöe discussed what listeners can expect from her and her sister’s separate albums.

“What people can look forward to musically from us as a duo is definitely more,” she said. “My sister and I have been traveling the world. Separately, we have been taking in our own experiences. Now, you will get both perspectives in the studio. I think there are two completely individual perspectives—now, in our new music, and all on the same songs.”
