On Thursday night, Kanye West spoke to Fox Newshost Tucker Carlson about his ‘White Lives Matter’ t-shirt and erupted on Instagram.

All eyes on Kanye West. The Donda 2 rapper went to Fox Newson Thursday night (October 6) for an interview with far-right correspondent Tucker Carlson about his controversial ‘White Lives Matter’ t-shirt, racial discrimination and more.

When asked by Carlson why he was wearing a lanyard with an image of an ultrasound on it, Ye responded, “It represents life. I’m pro-life.”

He continued, “I don’t care about people’s responses. I care about the fact that there’s more Black babies being aborted than born in New York City at this point. That 50 percent of Black death in America is abortion.”

When speaking about the ‘White Lives Matter’ t-shirt, the rapper-producer defended his stance, claiming that it came from “a gut instinct, a connection to God and just brilliance.”

“The answer to why I wrote ‘White Lives Matter’ on a shirt is because they do. It’s the obvious thing,” he said.

The rapper then got into a tangent about Special artist Lizzo, comparing her to Vogue contributor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson and calling out media’s focus on Lizzo’s “unhealthy” weight. When asked by Carlson about why would “they” want to promote unhealthiness, West replied, “It’s a genocide of the Black race. They want to kill us in any way they can.”

The interview was unnerving to Ye’s critics as he continued to sound off on Instagram, unloading on Drake, Gigi Hadid, Hailey Bieber, former White House senior advisor Jared Kushner and others.
