GIVĒON Delivers Debut Album, ‘Give Or Take’

Following a noteworthy appearance on Drake’s “Chicago Freestyle” and series of EPs (When It’s All Said And Done… Take Time), GIVĒON has finally shared his much-anticipated debut album Give Or Take.

“The whole concept of the album is me having a conversation with my mom, and we’re just catching up,” GIVĒON said to Apple Music of the project. “That’s why the stories kind of feel like a roller coaster and not just one smooth story—because it was more sporadic. I really wanted to give people a look behind the curtains of a 26-year-old man growing up today.”

Led by “Lie Again,” the 15-song project features contributions from Boi-1da, Cardo Got Wings, Sevn Thomas, and others. GIVĒON already hinted that the album won’t do wonders for those in the throes of a breakup. “I hope you guys work it out by Friday, because my album isn’t going to help the situation TBH,” he said on Twitter.
