Jai Paul is celebrating the 10th anniversary of his 2013 LP, Leak 04-13 (Bait Ones), vinyl-style. On Thursday (April 13), XL Recordings will be issuing 2013 copies of the record on Paul’s website at 11 a.m. EST. The drop also arrives ten years after the LP’s surprise Bandcamp leak, also one day prior to Paul’s performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. The festival, headlined by Frank Ocean, Bad Bunny, and BLACKPINK, will mark Paul’s first-ever live performance.

In preparation for Coachella, the English artist shared a note to Reddit on Wednesday (April 11).

“I always wanted to do something like this but yeah Im not gonna lie I am absolutely shitting it,” he wrote. “Anyway, I just wanted to let u lot know how much I appreciate all you staying with me for all this time. Hopefully it’s gonna be worth it.”

He continued, “Rehearsals been going good so far i reckon… Not long to go innit. For those of you able to make it out there, i will see you in a few days.”

For those not attending Coachella in-person this year, every set performed at the festival will be live-streamed on YouTube.

In 2019, Paul officially released Bait Ones to streaming platforms, along with new singles “Do You Love Her Now” and “He.” The vocalist has since teamed with his brother, A.K. Paul for EP Summer 2020, has released archival tracks on his website and appeared on 2022 Atlanta episode “The Old Man and the Tree,” where he discussed the relationship between racism and capitalism with Lakeith Stanfield’s character, Darius Epps.
