Rihanna Responds to A$AP Rocky Engagement Rumors

Rihanna is putting the engagement rumors to rest.

The pregnant singer recently sparked speculation over her marital status after she was seen wearing a massive diamond ring while shopping for baby clothes at Kitson in Los Angeles on Monday.

After sporting the sparkly rock, which is a Sloan Solitaire ring from New York jeweler Briony Raymond, there was speculation that she and A$AP Rocky were secretly engaged.

While leaving a restaurant in Santa Monica on Tuesday night, Rihanna was asked about the engagement rumors.

“This old ring?” she laughed. “You act like you ain’t never seen this before.”

The 34-year-old superstar, who announced in January that she and A$AP Rocky were expecting their first child, recently opened up about motherhood and the type of mother she expects to be.

“I feel like that’s the type of mom I’m going to be. Psycho about it,” she told ELLE while comparing herself to Teresa Giudice from “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.”

“You talk about my kids, it’s over,” she warned.

Rihanna was also spotted shopping for baby clothes at Target in L.A. this week. She put an orange dress in her cart, fueling rumors that she and Rocky are expecting a baby girl. However, she also picked up some clothing for a boy to avoid an accidental gender reveal.
